Terms of Service

Version 1.0 — Effective 11 April 2026

1. About ConveyIQ

ConveyIQ is an AI-assisted contract review platform operated by ConveyIQ Pty Ltd ABN 68 647 408 857 ("ConveyIQ", "we", "us", "our"). ConveyIQ is designed exclusively for use by licensed Australian conveyancers, solicitors, and law or conveyancing firms ("Subscribers"). By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a firm, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that firm to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

ConveyIQ is available only to:

  • Licensed conveyancers holding a current licence in an Australian state or territory; or
  • Australian legal practitioners (solicitors) holding a current practising certificate; or
  • Law firms or conveyancing firms operating under the supervision of a licensed conveyancer or principal solicitor.

By creating an account, you confirm that you are a licensed conveyancer, an Australian practising solicitor, or an authorised representative of an eligible firm. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account where this eligibility requirement is not met.

3. The Service

ConveyIQ provides AI-assisted analysis of property contracts, including identification of red flags, extraction of key dates and financial terms, risk assessment, and generation of draft client letters. The Service operates across all Australian states and territories, with deep specialisation in New South Wales and Victoria.

The Service is a professional productivity tool. It is not a substitute for your professional judgement, legal knowledge, or the advice of a qualified solicitor.

4. AI Outputs — Critical Disclaimer

⚠ Important — Please read carefully.

  • ConveyIQ uses artificial intelligence to analyse contract documents. AI outputs are probabilistic and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
  • AI outputs do not constitute legal advice and must not be communicated to clients without independent review and verification by a licensed conveyancer or solicitor.
  • You, as the subscriber (licensed conveyancer or solicitor), remain solely and fully responsible for all advice provided to your clients, all professional obligations under your licence or practising certificate, and all work product delivered to clients — regardless of whether ConveyIQ was used in its preparation.
  • ConveyIQ does not replace a competent review of the contract by a qualified professional. You must always read and verify the full contract independently.
  • AI outputs may not identify every issue present in a contract. The absence of a flag does not mean the absence of an issue.

5. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@conveyiq.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Each account is for a single firm. You must not share your account with persons outside your firm or allow third parties to access the platform using your credentials.

The Unlimited plan provides access to unlimited contract reviews subject to fair and reasonable use. The following constitute a breach of fair use and may result in suspension or downgrade of your subscription:

  • Submitting more than 500 reviews per calendar month per firm;
  • Using automated scripts, bots, or programmatic tools to submit reviews in bulk;
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or providing access to the Service to third parties outside your firm;
  • Using the Service to build a competing product or to train another AI model;
  • Submitting documents that are not genuine property contracts for the purpose of consuming credits or system resources.

We will contact you before taking action if we believe your usage falls outside fair use. The full Fair Use Policy is available at conveyiq.com.au/fair-use.

8. Document Handling and Deletion

Uploaded contract documents are processed for the purpose of generating your review. Documents are permanently deleted from our systems immediately upon completion of the review. We do not store, retain, or use uploaded contract documents for any other purpose, including AI training.

Extracted data from contracts (such as address, price, and contract type) may be retained in anonymised, aggregated form for the purpose of market intelligence analytics. No personally identifiable information of property buyers, sellers, or clients is retained. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights in the ConveyIQ platform, including its software, AI models, prompts, review outputs, and interface, are owned by or licensed to ConveyIQ Pty Ltd. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform for your firm's internal conveyancing and property law practice.

You retain all rights in the documents you upload. By uploading a document, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of generating your review.

  • Use the Service to provide advice to members of the public who are not clients of your firm's property law or conveyancing practice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)):

  • ConveyIQ is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of AI-generated outputs;
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on AI-generated outputs without independent verification;
  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of clients;
  • Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms is limited to the total subscription fees paid by you in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition, implied or imposed by any legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ConveyIQ Pty Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs (including legal fees), and expenses arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service in breach of these Terms; (b) your provision of advice to clients based on ConveyIQ outputs without independent professional review; or (c) any breach of your professional obligations as a licensed conveyancer or solicitor.

13. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to other users or the platform.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
