Fair Use Policy

Version 1.0 — Effective 11 April 2026 — Applies to Unlimited plan subscribers

1. Purpose

The ConveyIQ Unlimited plan is designed to give high-volume conveyancing and legal firms genuinely unlimited access to AI contract reviews for legitimate property and conveyancing practice. This Fair Use Policy ensures the platform remains fast, reliable, and cost-effective for all subscribers.

2. What's Included

Under the Unlimited plan, you may submit an unlimited number of contract reviews per month for genuine property contracts handled by your licensed conveyancing or law firm. There is no hard credit cap for normal professional use.

3. Fair Use Threshold

We define fair use as up to 500 reviews per calendar month per firm. This threshold is generous — a firm handling 500 reviews per month would be among the highest-volume conveyancing and property law practices in Australia.

If your firm consistently exceeds 500 reviews per month, we will reach out to discuss your needs. We will never suspend your account without prior contact and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Enterprise pricing may be available for firms with consistently very high volume.

4. Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct constitutes a breach of fair use and may result in your account being suspended or downgraded to a credit-based plan:

  • Automated or scripted submissions: Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to submit reviews in bulk without human involvement;
  • Resale or sublicensing: Providing access to the Service to other firms or individuals outside your own firm, or reselling AI-generated outputs as a standalone service;
  • Competitive use: Using the Service to build, train, or improve a competing AI product or service;
  • Document stuffing: Submitting documents that are not genuine property contracts for the purpose of testing system limits or consuming resources;
  • Account sharing: Sharing account credentials with persons outside your licensed firm.

5. Our Approach to Enforcement

We monitor usage patterns to identify behaviour inconsistent with normal conveyancing or property law practice. Our approach is always to contact you first. We will not take action against your account without:

  • Notifying you by email of our concern;
  • Providing a reasonable opportunity (minimum 5 business days) to explain or adjust your usage;
  • Working with you to find a solution where possible.

We aim to be a genuine partner to high-volume firms. The purpose of this policy is to prevent abuse, not to penalise legitimate high-volume users.

6. Questions

If you have questions about whether your intended use falls within this policy, contact us before proceeding at support@conveyiq.com.au.
